Great coffee! Heard from my best friend and finally decided to give it a try. It is a cozy place that gives you warm&happy feelings. Definitely try it out and you will know what I am talking about. Everything is so good!

The lady who runs this place lights up with a smile. You can tell she enjoys taking care of the customers. What a wonderful place this little ice cream, sandwich and coffee shop is. Haven't tried their sandwich but loved their ice cream as well as their gelato. Of course you can't compare the gelato with those in Italy but still they do differentiate the ice cream and gelato, you'll notice the difference. It is a gem of a place and I think it's because of a very nice young lady who runs that place.

Went for quick coffee and I got a latte and my husband got a caramel iced coffee, quiche and coffee cake. Nothing home made or exceptional. The iced coffee was absolutely the worse. Maybe their ice cream is better than the coffee and breakfast.

An ok place for ice cream. Not much seating but it is a small shop. Selection is rather limited and ice cream is just ok. Given all the choices in Mt Dora, might as well go here.

A great little place in the center of Mount Dora, FL. I was here on a road trip. We all were walking through local stores and recently had a bite to eat at another establishment. It was a very hot day. So my sister had the bright idea to go to an ice cream shoppe. I asked a local and she pointed me to walk through a parking lot, walk-up to a huge white building, go through the building, up the stairs and it would place me on Mount Dora's main street. I took a look to my left and there it was. I was thirsty, starting to beam of sweat, the door glowed in my amazement from the thirst in my throat. I ordered a lemonade, damn! Great lemonade. Fresh, just the perfect amount of sugar. The taste attacked me like a light cool breeze. I didn't try anything else. Based on these lemons, this place won't leave a sour taste in your mouth.

This is a great cafe in beautiful downtown Mt. Dora. Stop in for a wide selection of customized drinks, tasty home-made food, and even delicious ice cream or gelato! It's a great quick stop to re-energize for more window shopping and perusing in Mt. Dora. There are several tables on the sidewalk to have your drink and people watch, as well! I've had several good conversations with the owner - who always seems to be there working, himself; his energetic staff; and many interesting patrons.

I had the salted caramel , butter pecan and pistachio. They were all very DELICIOUS. They also sell sandwiches did not get a chance to try them. They have a couple inside and outside seating.

What a gem! I came with my dad while I was in town visiting. We came for ice cream and just wanted a little. The young lady working was awesome. We were able to sample before ordering. We just wanted one scoop and my goodness that was the biggest one scoop I've ever seen. The ice cream was delicious! I read the menu and the specials of the day and everything made my mouth water. Wish I was able to try more.

I was in Mount Dora during the Mount Dora Spring Antiques,Collectibles & Crafts Show when I stopped by this small ice cream shop to get some ice cream to cool me off. They only have about 7 flavors..Chocolate,Vanilla and Cookies and Cream is just some of the ones they offer. This is small tiny shop in the heart of Mount Dora, they place is nice inside and the staff is friendly but it is over priced. Small cup of Ice cream is over $3 bucks. Over all it is a nice place to get ice cream but like I i said it is a small place to sitting is limited. Try the Chocolate chip Ice cream with gummy bears, very good Ice cream. Three stars for good and quick service, but could be a bit bigger place to sit more people and it is expensive for what you get plus there is not that much variety in flavors. This is definitely not your DQ or Baskin Robbins but it is a pretty nice place to get some Ice cream or smoothie, they offer smoothies and Gelatos also but it seems almost everyone was going for the Ice Cream.

The ice cream is really darned good here; I had the key lime flavor, and it was DIVINE.

I was in Mt Dora on the search for ice cream and this small coffee shop's little 'homemade ice cream' sign caught my eye. Hot damn! I got the "Captain's Butterscotch", vanilla ice cream with a butterscotch swirl with chunks of chocolate, brownie and toffee. Ah-MAZE-ing. Seriously. Best ice cream EVER!

  • Happy D.

Locally owned downtown coffee shop with lots of local character. Coffee always hot and good. Small selection of ice cream served up by a very friendly staff. Also serves very basic, but good, Boars Head meats on their sandwiches...just like your mother makes. Small bathroom facility. It's an intimate little shop, which lends to a homey feel....sometimes crowded and loud....sometimes you're the only patron. Either way it's a great place to start your day in Mount Dora with a cup of coffee or end your day with a scoop of ice cream. Happy Dining!!!
